About Me
Jillian Ryan is a freelance writer and video creator based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from “upstate”’ Rockland County – which no one there actually considers upstate, but to the average city person, it may as well be Canada. Ryan ventured to the Wild West for college and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Global Media Studies and a minor in Communication. Ever since her fourth grade teacher praised her writing on a state test (if you know, you know), Ryan has used that ego boost to her advantage. These days, she can be found exploring different NYC neighborhoods, trying to stick to a workout routine and arguing with Bed, Bath & Beyond over a couch she bought months ago.
